Gearing up for MARA Fall 2013 Survey

Survey administration for the Motivation and Achievement in Rural Appalachia (MARA) project is going full swing in October. The first survey administration is on October 7. Check your schedules and sign up for one or more of the time slots.

Dr. Usher to serve as advisor on Exploratorium project

Dr. Usher will serve as an advisor to the Exploratorium project, “Research on Emerging Adult Learners,” to begin in 2014 and funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Amanda Presents in EARLI Conference

Amanda Butz, our very own lab coordinator, presented her paper on autonomy as a source of self-efficacy in the recently concluded EARLI Conference in Munich, Germany.

The P20 Motivation and Learning Lab has grown since it started in the summer of 2010. This fall semester we have 23 graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.
