Dr. Richard Mayer, a prominent educational psychologist from the University of California Santa Barbara, visited the University of Kentucky this week to deliver a lecture on multimedia learning. In his talk, Dr. Mayer described findings from dozens of research studies about how digital information can be presented in ways that maximize student learning. His presentation has been uploaded to our iTunes University site. The site can be accessed with the following link: http://itunes.uky.edu/ using your Link Blue account. His talk is featured under the Department of Anesthesiology course content in the “Special Lectures” section. The talk was entitled, “Applying the Science of Learning to Medical Education.” Special thanks to Dr. Randy Schell and Amy DiLorenzo for inviting us to attend!
